The Vision of St. Paul Lutheran Church & School

We envision a community welcomed with the loving arms of Jesus, trained and discipled in His teachings, and passionately living out His purposes.

A community welcomed with the loving arms of Jesus:

  • Continuing and expanding multiple worship styles, including a Spanish worship service.

  • Continuing and expanding our ministry to the homeless and those in need.

  • Supporting and expanding a youth program including efforts to reach community youth through the basketball program.

  • Outreaching to young adults.

  • Increasing the enrollment of our 150+ year old school.

Trained and discipled in His teachings:

  • Participation in Bible Studies including Sunday Morning, Small Groups and VBS.

  • Supporting and expanding the Hispanic ministry

  • Increasing the enrollment of the 150+ year old school and expand its use as an evangelism tool.

  • Developing a program to reach inactive members

  • Increasing attendance in Sunday School, various Bible classes and small groups.

  • Developing members through Time, Talents and Treasures.

  • Inspiring members to tithe according to scripture.

  • Involving kids in worship services.

  • Engaging members through assimilation.

Passionately living out his purposes:

  • Develop an evangelism program to reach the unchurched in Aurora.

  • Organizing mission trips both near and abroad.

  • Equipping individuals to lead Bible classes and house groups.
